Falling Still by Marlow Shami
Переглядів 643 роки тому
Falling Still is an animation reflecting my experience of the process of being present. Awake to the beauty surrounding and within me. The falling sensation of forgetting that I am connected to every being, absolutely everything, is remedied with each awakening within the moment, the stillness of equanimity. It’s a process-an ongoing devotional practice. Artist www.marlowshami.com
Circle

Remembering to be present and aware of my being a part of the natural world is no simple matter. The practice of doing so is circular, never the same, and always healing.
Mutual Us

Mutual Us What is the condition of our global community's life support system? Amid this pandemic, it is easy to lose sight of the terrible destruction we heap on our homelands as we all struggle to find ways to cope with the unfamiliar. We can no longer ignore the social justice issues that have plagued so many peoples around the world. Cognitive dissonance is a luxury state of mind we can not...

Snippets of a few Goshen walks the past week. Greetings friends! Some of you have posted images and videos of the nature surrounding your home base. I’d love to see more, especially from friends and family who have yet to post pictures/videos of locations inspiring a bit of peace and restoration. Even a shot out the window, if you are unable to exit your home, would be appreciated. Looking forw...

I've long enjoyed this song because I've spent much of my life in therapy. It's described as a parody, but of what? An original song, or just a genre of music?
Hi Matt-_ Jane Sibbery wrote the song, "Everything Reminds Me of My Dog". www.google.com/search?q=jane+siberry+everything+reminds+me+of+my+dog&rlz=1C5CHFA_enUS990US990&oq=Jane+Siberry+Everything+Reminds+&aqs=chrome.0.0i355i512j46i512j0i512j69i57.101551547j0j15&sourceid=chrome&ie=UTF-8 Nancy's song is a parody of Jane's song. They know one another, and Nancy got the thumbs up from Jane to record:-) Thanks for your comment!
They are the best critters ever. ❤
Awww
Wonderfull ❤
What a little snuffly cutey-pie.
I find these guys all the time here in Michigan. Usually dead on the road, but I've seen living ones out and about from time to time!
Tamandua
Tamandua -yes! ….is a genus of anteaters in the Myrmecophagidae family with two species: the southern tamandua (T. tetradactyla) and the northern tamandua (T. mexicana).[1] They live in forests and grasslands, are semiarboreal, and possess partially prehensile tails. They mainly eat ants and termites, but they occasionally eat bees, beetles, and insect larvae. In captivity, they will eat fruits and meat. They have no teeth and depend on their powerful gizzards to break down their food.
I enjoyed it till you said teach DIVERSITY glad it was at the end.
Great video thank you !
Predivna 🥰❤️
Wow that part where she talked about the sewer in the belly... I'm so shocked!😲I went once for a reiki session once and I felt a nauseous and painful feeling in my stomach as if I stored all my feelings and hurt there.
Insights abound. The body-mind connection can be an insightful study - wholesome. Takes courage!
SubhanAllah, a cotton ball.

Harry Potter time!
He's 👁👄👁 all the time. I'm in love with him. I've seen this owl for just two minutes but if anything happened to him I would kill everyone in this room and then myself.
Маленькая полярная крассавица и кота не надо всем мышкам пипец придёт.0
They visit our yard most nights. We love them.
I live in Ct we have many in our yard because we have a very long large forsythia bush which makes a great cover for them. Also thank a hunter if you know one they are very adamant about conservation and the money they spend on permits goes toward conservation of wildlife!
It is very difficult to get environmentalists to understand the environment.

So glad you enjoyed it, Fateme!
That's was nice to see owl it is beautiful Am actually studying owls myself seeing an owl and I have an interesting in owls
She is so adorable!!! I have a male and female living in my garage over the winter. I made them both insulated nesting boxes and go in there nighty to give them fresh good and water. They normally put on a show with a soft growl when i lift up the blankets but as soon as i put chicken or some cheese by their nose they gladly take it. Talk about bed and breakfast 😋. I sure hope to see some Joey's in spring time. Such fascinating and misunderstood animals.
Great to see good management on a large scale like this. There are also ways the landowner can help on smaller scales. See: ua-cam.com/video/2AwsW8CdQJs/v-deo.html ...very easy and fun for the family.
Beautiful Owl 👌
